ABOUT THEINDEPENDENCE GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL COMBINE

The Elijah Lee Elite Girls Flag Football Combine is a professional, non-contact combine designed to evaluate, develop, and challenge female athletes through pro-style football testing, position-specific instruction, and athletic competition. Held at the Independence Athletic Complex in Independence, Missouri, the combine gives girls the opportunity to train under professional-level coaching, experience a collegiate-style evaluation environment, and build confidence both on and off the field. The event features combine testing events including the 40-yard dash, broad jump, cone drills, route running, catching, flag pulling, and defensive positioning — all structured to mirror the experience of an elite athletic evaluation.

This program is built for girls of all skill levels — from beginners who have never played flag football to competitive athletes looking to take their game to the next level. Parents, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters are all invited to participate and help grow the game. The combine also serves as the launch point for a future Independence girls flag football league, giving athletes a clear pathway from their first combine experience to ongoing league play, skill development, and competitive opportunities throughout the year.

The initiative is built and led by Elijah Lee, a Super Bowl Champion, former NFL linebacker, and Kansas State standout, alongside a dedicated organizing team committed to creating access, opportunity, and community impact through girls flag football. Elijah Lee Elite Girls Flag Football is a community-driven initiative, not an official school, district, NFL, or Chiefs event unless explicitly stated. The combine also incorporates a community impact drive, inviting participants to bring school supplies or canned food items to support local families in need.
